Video
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I present for your viewing pleasure the delightful interpretation of "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" by a very silly 16 month old. Enjoy.
*FYI: Her hair is a M.E.S.S. The audience is rather enthusiastic (Papa, Nina, and Mama). This performance is a common avoidance technique used for putting on pjs.

Hats
Her new thing is hats. She's been finding new ones around the house and wearing them around. She is even coordinated enough to put them on herself (correctly). It's rather funny. These pictures aren't that great, but she is a busy little bee these days. It's hard to get her to sit still for even a second. There's just so much to do and see here at Nina and Papa's!

Home Again
I'm home from my wonderful weekend away. It was soooo much fun, but I missed my girl terribly. I didn't get to spend much time with her today, because she went to bed not long after I got home. However, we did play with this little gadget for a few minutes.
We hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Be Back Sunday
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm away from my girl until Sunday. I'm having a much needed weekend with friends! I think I'll miss her more than she misses me! Aunt Megan came to play with her this weekend!

Mama as a Baby
On July 22, 2009, at around 7:45 a.m., I saw my girl for the first time. Immediately I knew it. She looked exactly like her dad. And I loved that! I think my mom was the only person there that thought she might slightly favor me. She was beautiful, regardless of who she looked like. It seems that 16 months later, she might just look like her mama after all. I see hints of AC in each of these pictures!
This is me at around 13-14 months. AC loves to sit in the exact chair at her Nina's!

This is me at around 16-17 months. This one looks the most like AC, I think!

This is me at around 2 years old. Is this what our girl will look like this summer?
A quick note about today:
1) It was COLD! Snow flurries drifted about all day.
2) Papa was a great babysitter this morning while I ran some errands.
3) We had a wonderful afternoon visit with Gran and Grandaddy.
4) AC met and feel in love with a real, live horse. It was found wandering down the road and Papa is boarding it for the night until the owners come get it. She was mesmerized. My girl is a Kentucky girl at heart...she appreciates a beautiful horse when she sees it! Ha!

Santa and Sprinkles
Today we played with Santa and sprinkles for the Christmas cookies. Fun times!

Kissies for Santa. Just in case he needed a little extra convincing that she has indeed been a good girl this year...
Yummy!
