Special Treat

Today we got a very special treat...Daddy came home early from work! Days like these are enjoyed by everyone in this house, especially a little girl who loves to play outside. And Daddy is always willing to take her out!

Daddy pushing AC around in her doll stroller. Her face says it all.
This child loves these wiffle balls. Obsessed, slightly.

Watching Daddy and G in the yard.

On a different note, the weather was heaven today. The high was 75. AC and I went to Publix this morning and you should have seen the layers of clothing these people had on. You would have thought it was 50. Crazy, they are. In more ways than one. We love and miss you all! We'll see you soon!

Head

It's all about heads today...what she has on it. A hat or herself.
Just wearing her hat around the house and dancing to The Wiggles.
Her new favorite trick.

Climbing

Well, still no luck with the video. However, I do have pictures! Today, AC discovered that if she flipped over her chair, she could climb on it. This provided an hour of fun times!

And this is how she wears her glasses. She refuses to put them on her face!

We love and miss you all!

Video Issues

I have spent the last hour trying to upload a video. I can't figure out what is wrong, so I'm giving up! Maybe tomorrow!

Today

Today went kinda like this:
7:00 - AC awake and very grumpy. A little early morning dose of the Wiggles made things a little better.
8:00 11:30- Daddy leaves for work. I attempt to makes beds and do laundry. Some days this is an impossible task as a little one demands my constant attention. I managed to get 1 bed made and 1 load of laundry done before the grumpiness crept back in. After a tantrum, a snuggle, and a snack, playtime resumed.
11:30-1:15 - AC takes a short nap and wakes up super grumpy. I feed her spaghetti for lunch which she smears all over her blankie. Her WHITE blankie. It gets washed immediately and she IS NOT happy. Tantrum #3.
1:30-3:30 - We take a trip to Target. During the course of this trip, AC throws a bottle of face wash out of the cart and it busts. She stands up in the seat of the cart and nearly falls out. She screams "Bye Bye" to every passerby. She may have been bribed with a Kit-Kat or two. She sees a bin of balls and screams "BAAAAAAA" as loud as she can with her arms in the air. She throws her sippy cup out and it breaks open, spilling apple juice all over the floor of Checkout Lane 11. So, in the end, we left Target with a broken bottle of Neutrogena, a huge bag of Kit-Kats, a ball, a broken sippy cup, and a bag of chocolate and apple juice covered baby wipes.
3:30-5:00 - AC plays in the garage while I do more laundry (also in the garage). She is completely focused as she takes all the clean laundry out of the basket and drags it all over the garage floor while I was putting a new load in the washer. She continues to find all kinds of treasures (a lizard, a yard stick, a stray flip flop, an empty milk carton) in the garage as I fold laundry.
5:00-5:30 - We talk to Papa on the web cam. She shows him her pumpkin, gives some kisses, and tries to ride the dog.
5:30 - Daddy gets home and shortly later sprays off the back porch. She is terrified when he sprays the glass door. I can only imagine how scared she would be at the car wash.
6:00 - 7:00 - Bath time and bed. Nighty night, Little One. It's been a long day.

Random Pics from today.

"I love pumpkins."

A little giraffe after her bath.

We are super excited about tomorrow because all of these ridiculous political ads will go away! And it means our trip home is 2 weeks away! We love and miss you all!

Happy Halloween!

Tonight we enjoyed another Halloween party! Our little cowgirl had lots of fun!

Thinking about playing on the playground. The bigger kids were a little rambunctious and intimidating.

Watching the clown, with two handfuls of candy.

"Dad! This guy isn't real, is he?"

Yummy! Tootsie Rolls!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Munchkins for a Munchkin

I must admit that the daddy and I aren't the always the best role models when it comes to healthy eating. We don't eat junk everyday but way more than we should. We keep saying that when AC starts eating the same food we eat, we WILL do better. But that time isn't now, so we indulged this morning. I went out for an early morning errand and came home with this little surprise!

25 Munchkins (donut holes) and a large coffee. The coffee was for Daddy and the Munchkins were shared between the 4 of us. Yes, even the furry one got her share, thanks to her sister!

Giving Mama a bite.

Giving G a bite.

Yummy!
And Daddy said it best when he said, "We've really got to do better, you know?" He's right. But they were wonderful while they lasted!
We love you all!
