Look what AC got today!  Her new lunchbox!  It's about the cutest thing ever.

Now we just need school to start!  11 more days, but who's counting?!  Me...I'm totally counting.

Things About Today

A few things that made today wonderful:

1) Her funny fake laugh.  She took it to a new level today.  Hilarious.
2) She looked at me and said, "Mommy, you are very pretty.  You are my best friend."
3) The way she rubs my face and plays with my eyelashes during our snuggle time (before naps and bedtime).
4)  That she thinks I'm the funniest person in the world.
5)  She was still sleeping on her pillow when I went to check on her a few minutes ago.  This never happens.  She is usually on the opposite end of the bed and the pillow is on the floor.

I just love this girl more than words can say.

F&F Part 6: Third Birthday

She is 3!!!  And she loves to tell every one she sees!  She has even mastered holding up three fingers while she says, "I'm three!  I'm a big girl!!!"

AC is a lucky girl.  She had two birthday parties.  We celebrated on her actually birthday with Mamaw and Papaw.  Then we celebrated again one week later at Nina and Papa's.

Here is my big girl with her very cute Dora Princess cake at Mamaw and Papaw's.

Lovin' her daddy!

Playing with her cousins...all who are 3 years old!

Her mermaid cake at Nina and Papa's!

Little Mermaid playing outside

Opening presents with Mommy.

Picking her toes.  Always.  Her toenails are so sad.

Pretty.

Blowing out candles

She requested a pinata!  Uncle Bud had to help her!

AC and her cousins, Caroline and Carter.

Princess shoes

Sending some of her party balloons to Daddy and Gracie

Brent helped her send up a great big bunch.

Completely obsessed with her new skates!

She had two wonderful parties with lots and lots of people who love her!  She has the best families in the world.

F&F Part 5: Lil' Musician

AC loves all things musical.  Singing, dancing, playing instruments.  In this video, she is playing the piano and singing.  The best part is that she is pretending to read the sheet music and making up her own words.  I have absolutely no clue where she learned to do this.  I am amazed by how musical and artsy she is.  I actually have a much better video than this one but so much is going on in the background that it is hard to watch.

Yes...she is missing her pants.  Again.  When she goes to the potty, she just leaves them in the bathroom instead of pulling them back up.  Some days, I don't fight the battle.

F&F Part 4: Day on the Farm

This girl watched almost no t.v. during our time at Nina and Papa's.  There is just way too much to explore when you are 3 years old and have a great big farm at your finger tips.

She enjoyed countless rides on the four-wheeler and a few on the tractor.  She jumped from hay bale to hay bale many, many times.  She climbed into old deer stands.  She played with dogs and her bunny.  She picked corn and beans.  It was all I could do to get her inside to eat a meal.

She even tried her hand at shucking corn.  I hope she makes you proud, Gran!

She and La playing with her bunny, Osha.  Yes, they have her on a dog leash.  It really isn't as crazy as it first seems.

Ms. Attitude, naturally.

She constantly had dirt under her nails.  She had more bruises and scratches than ever before.  But she was so happy and so full of life.  She loved every single minute of it.  How lucky she is to get to experience a real, enriching childhood summer.  A true southern summer on the farm exploring and learning.  There is nothing like it, folks.  Nothing.  Thanks, Nina and Papa.  We love you.

F&F Part 3: The Fair

After our visit with Aunt May and Uncle Justin, we took a short little drive to Mamaw and Papaw's house.  We celebrated AC's birthday and had a great time visiting with our family.  I'm going to include these pictures on one big birthday post coming in a few days.

Daddy flew back home at the end of this visit, so AC and I ventured back down to Nina and Papa's.  The next day we visited the county fair.  It was a blazing 101 degrees, but we braved the heat in hopes of making memories.

Most of the animals were already gone by the time we got there, but AC was able to pet a few goats, sheep, pigs, and a cow.  She loved it!

Then she rode a few rides!  Look at how red her face is!  It was so, so hot.

Then she played a few games.  Uncle Benny had to help out with this one.

She also enjoyed cotton candy, a snow cone, and a few bites of funnel cake.  I would call it a success!!

Friends and Family Part 2

Can't believe it's been two weeks since my last post!  We are finally back from our trip and are in the throes of withdrawal.  Withdrawal from our friends and family.  Anywho, I'm picking up where I left off 2 weeks ago...

The day after my last post, my girl and I took a little trip to visit my sister, AC's dearest Aunt May.  She would be keeping AC for the weekend while Daddy and I went to the wedding of an old college friend.  To say that AC had a good time would be a huge understatement.  She l.o.v.e.d. every minute of her weekend with May.

On the first day, she experienced the trampoline for the first time.  I think she loved it.

On the second day, she had a blast with the kiddos.  Here she is leading a group exercise. HA!  The kids were such good sports!

They also went to Monkey Joe's.  She fell in love with Jax.

On the third day, Aunt May, Uncle Justin, and AC went to the pool!
And down the water slide about 100 times.

On the fourth day, which was also her 3rd birthday, she and Aunt May made a birthday cake for breakfast!

Strawberry cake with chocolate chips, sprinkles, and lots of candles...my girl's dream come true!

Daddy and I arrived just as the cake was finished.  We sang to her and watched her blow-out the candles on her special day.

I'm so happy she got to spend quality time with Megan and Justin.  I hope they enjoyed her as much as she enjoyed them because it seems that Justin is her new BFF!  She did call him a "lil' cutie" after all!!
