Today

Today went kinda like this:
7:00 - AC awake and very grumpy. A little early morning dose of the Wiggles made things a little better.
8:00 11:30- Daddy leaves for work. I attempt to makes beds and do laundry. Some days this is an impossible task as a little one demands my constant attention. I managed to get 1 bed made and 1 load of laundry done before the grumpiness crept back in. After a tantrum, a snuggle, and a snack, playtime resumed.
11:30-1:15 - AC takes a short nap and wakes up super grumpy. I feed her spaghetti for lunch which she smears all over her blankie. Her WHITE blankie. It gets washed immediately and she IS NOT happy. Tantrum #3.
1:30-3:30 - We take a trip to Target. During the course of this trip, AC throws a bottle of face wash out of the cart and it busts. She stands up in the seat of the cart and nearly falls out. She screams "Bye Bye" to every passerby. She may have been bribed with a Kit-Kat or two. She sees a bin of balls and screams "BAAAAAAA" as loud as she can with her arms in the air. She throws her sippy cup out and it breaks open, spilling apple juice all over the floor of Checkout Lane 11. So, in the end, we left Target with a broken bottle of Neutrogena, a huge bag of Kit-Kats, a ball, a broken sippy cup, and a bag of chocolate and apple juice covered baby wipes.
3:30-5:00 - AC plays in the garage while I do more laundry (also in the garage). She is completely focused as she takes all the clean laundry out of the basket and drags it all over the garage floor while I was putting a new load in the washer. She continues to find all kinds of treasures (a lizard, a yard stick, a stray flip flop, an empty milk carton) in the garage as I fold laundry.
5:00-5:30 - We talk to Papa on the web cam. She shows him her pumpkin, gives some kisses, and tries to ride the dog.
5:30 - Daddy gets home and shortly later sprays off the back porch. She is terrified when he sprays the glass door. I can only imagine how scared she would be at the car wash.
6:00 - 7:00 - Bath time and bed. Nighty night, Little One. It's been a long day.

Random Pics from today.

We are super excited about tomorrow because all of these ridiculous political ads will go away! And it means our trip home is 2 weeks away! We love and miss you all!
